Gâteaux à la Crème™

Gâteaux à la Crème is a brand of Bárbara Rossi Patissière. The name in French is related to her strong influence from the traditional 'patissière' of that nationality (Barbara studied in the Le Cordon Bleu of Paris).

For this design project were developed Logo, Graphic Pattern, Stationery, Tags, Packaging and also this Website — a full project of institutional identity where the visual language explores the universe of 'patissière' and also translates her own specific influences.

The UX project was designed from a basic principle: to maximize the images of the products (photography by Elisa Correa), the main content of the website (which also is an online store).

Thus, the entire interface was designed to make it easy to navegate between the different product categories, but always with prominence for the products in the central part of the layout.

For each product page was designed a composition containing a main image, a tag with the basic information and a complementary photo.

In addition to the main menu access to the product pages, you can also navigate between the products through a mini-menu available at the bottom of each product page, or yey through the navigation arrows available on the sides of the same pages.

The colors of the interface elements accompany the soft pastel tones of the background, filled with a pattern specially designed for the Gâteaux à la Crème visual identity project.
